He was born October 25, 1915 in Lockesburg. He was a laying house operator for 60 years and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lockesburg.
Mr. Needham was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Andrew and Amazon Zachry Needham; and one son, Johnny Wayne Needham.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Martin Needham; five daughters, Charlotte Janes and Phyllis Turner both of Dierks, Arkansas, Betty Jester of Wake Village, Texas, Peggy McCormick of Benton, Arkansas and Becky Needham of Lockesburg, Arkansas; one son, Lewis Needham of Lockesburg; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Needham will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wesley Blankenship and Rev. Wallace Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Belleville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
