Edna Marie Pratt, 91, of Maud passed away on November 8, 2012 at her home. She was born on June 21, 1921 in Wewoka to Guy Charles and Linda Lou (Moore) Sturgis. She was a homemaker. She married Valentine Arthur "Jiggs" Pratt on November 1, 1945 in Tecumseh. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Charles Wayne Sturgis and Glen Dale Sturgis. She is survived by her husband; her daughters, Donna Thornton of Oklahoma City, Gayla Helbling of Bastrop, Louisiana, and Linda Mae Haces of Midwest City; her brother, Guy Charles Sturgis, Jr.; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh with Pastor Tom Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Cummings Cemetery in Maud.
