age 68, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2002. Born January 8, 1934, in Dry Creek, Kentucky. Wallace was a retired plumber with 30 years of service from Stebbins Plumbing in West Carrollton, Ohio. He was proceded in death by wives Mary Jo Bates and Frankie Turner Bates, and a son, Charles Elliot Bates. He is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary (Lynn)Bates, Jackson, Kentucky, and Wallace(Doe) and Mary Bates, New Lebanon, Ohio; 4 granddaughters, Brittany, Ciara, Shannon, and Gabrielle Bates; 5 grandsons, Wallace Lynn, Greg, Dylan Bates, Kyle, Cody; and 1 great grandson, Wallace Caleb Bates.

Wallace was a member of Union Pentecostal Church, 1101 N. Union Rd., Trotwood, Ohio where survices will be held Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 6 pm with Rev. Clifford Hurst officiating. The family will receive friends at the church form 3 - 6 pm prior to the service. Interment at Turner Family Cemetery, Wolf Coal, KY.
