Mrs. Anstice was born on Oct 6 1817, in New London, Conn., and lived there until her marriage, when she and her husband removed to New York. About 50 years ago, Mr. & Mrs. Anstice removed to the house in which she died. Three of her children remain to mourn her death; they are Rev. Dr. Henry Anstice of Philadelphia, Josiah Anstice of Rochester and Mrs. Dawson.
The funeral will be held at her late residence, on Wednesday noon. Rev. William M. Gilbert, rector of St. Paul's Church, will officiate. The interment will be in the family plot at Greenwood. The services will be strictly private.
