Obituary
Funeral services were held Wednesday, (December 9, 1959) at 4:30 p.m. at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou for Mark Aucoin, 75 year of retired farmer who died at his home here on Tuesday following a long illness.

Rev. J. A. LeBlanc, pastor, officiated at the last rites and burial was held in the Mamou Catholic Cemetery.

A life long resident of Mamou, Aucoin is survived by his wife, the former Lazie Soileau Aucoin, of Mamou; two sons, Martin Aucoin of Mamou and Joel Aucoin of Elizabeth; a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Dacus of Houston; three brothers, Dorestan Aucoin and Eunis Aucoin,k both of Eunice and Searick Aucoin of Hayes; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of arrangements.
