Erskine Warsham Rites Held Today.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today for Erskine W. Warsham, (Worsham) 74, who died Sunday morning at his residence, 410 West Oakwood Avenue, following a long illness. Services were held from Brown Chapel, Tenn., six miles east of Lincoln, with Rev. J. Otis King officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, with Laughlin-Service funeral home directing. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Garnett Dye Warsham; three daughters, Mrs. George Tielking, Meridianville; and Mrs. Paul Clinton and Mrs. Herman Hobbs of Huntsville; four sons, Cecil Warsham at home, George of Hazel Green, Bill of Ardmore, Tenn., and Acy of Flintville; 32 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lura Rogers of Pulaski, Tenn., and Mrs. Ida Baker of Texas; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Dye of Flintville. Active pallbearers were Paul Clinton, Stanford Warsham, Bill and Cecil Warsham, Willis and Elmer Dye.
