Esther was born in Agua Caliente, Mexico, to Mariano and Refugio (Landeros) DeAnda. She had been a Roseville resident for the last 78 years and had worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 20 years as an office clerk. She retired in 1968. She was a member of the Mexican Cursillo at St. Rose Catholic Church and enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Antonio Macias, her second husband Arthur Wagner, and her brother Agustine DeAnda. Esther passed away at the grand age of 98 years and was survived by her daughters Madeline Gonzalez and Bertha Jimenez, her sisters Dolores Wagner and Jessie Vaquero, four grandchildren, eight g-grandchildren, and two g-g-grandchildren.
