Louise Albrecht
Louise Albrecht, 81, of International Falls, Minn., died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-International Falls.
Louise was born Aug. 19, 1931, in Royalton, Minn.
She began her adult life as a housekeeper for General Patton. Later, she journeyed to Los Angeles, where she spent the next 20 years doing cosmetic packing for Max Factor. During this time, she would take mini trips to Las Vegas where she would have a blast. She loved the excitement and fun associated with Vegas.
In the early 1980s, Louise moved to International Falls where she purchased her own home.
She spent the remainder of her working days at Rig-Jig Tackle. Upon retiring, Louise would enjoy going to the casinos around the state, and most recently, she enjoyed a trip to Fortune Bay with the Good Samaritan Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Carrie Albrecht; sisters, Mary Clear and Francis Senzek; and brothers, Richard, Charlie and Eddie.
Louise is survived by her sisters, Jennie (Al) LaValla, Josie (Walter) LaValla and Bertha (Floyd) Kohman; lots of nieces, nephews, and great ones, too!
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Green-Larsen Mortuary.
Interment will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Riverside Cemetery, Royalton.
If so desired, in memoriam donations would be preferred to the Louise Albrecht Memorial Trust in care of Wells Fargo Bank.
