Bert Tony, 71, died October 30th at Converse County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Tony had been engaged in ranching in the Douglas community for 34 years. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, and a brother, Urban Tony, of Wisconsin. (Information was obtained from his obituary in the Douglas Budget, Nov. 2, 1961 and cemetery records.)
