GUYMON, Okla. - Jerry Wayne Smart, 57, formerly of Guymon and Amarillo, Texas, died in Oklahoma City.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Guymon Church of Christ with Jesse Stephens, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors.
Mr. Smart was born April 10, 1947, in Kermit, Texas. He drove trucks and operated heavy equipment for many years in the Guymon area.
Survivors include his mother, Thelma Smart of Garden City, Kan.; a sister, Jenny Thompson of Garden City; a brother, Terry Dewayne Smart of Sheridan, Wyo.; two nieces; and three nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to Panhandle Area Sheltered Workshop in care of the funeral home, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
