CONWAY | Ethel Ina Rogers Causey, 87, wife of the late William Rudolph Causey Sr., of Four Mile Road, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Conway Medical Center.

Mrs. Causey was born October 10, 1919 in Williamsburg County, South
Carolina, a daughter of the late Furman Presley and Olive Mae Jordan Rogers.

She was a member of Homewood Baptist Church where she was church clerk for 24 years, and teacher of the Annis Hardee Sunday School Class for 21 years.

Mrs. Causey was a graduate of Indiantown High School in Indiantown, S.C. and the Saunders School of Nursing in Florence. She worked as a registered nurse at Conway Hospital for 21 years, and worked as an office nurse for Dr. Griffin and Dr. Collins for 15 years before retiring in 1976.

She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Nelle Blakely of Andrews.

Surviving are one son, William Rudy Rudolph Causey Jr. and his wife,
Merilyn, of Conway; one daughter, Ann Causey Holden and her husband, Ivan, of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Rhett Gator Holden, Rebecca Causey Harper and her husband, Scott, all of Georgetown, and Jennifer Causey and Annette Causey, both of Conway; and one great-grandson, Bryson Harper.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with the Rev. Earl Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m Monday, August 13, 2007, at the funeral home.
