A.J. Wilson, Durham, died Thursday noon in the Cheyenne hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Durham community building with Joe Laird and Leland Burch officiating.
Born June 9, 1890, in Hamilton County, Texas, he was married December 25, 1913 to Carrie M. Owens at Hollis. He came to Roger Mills County in 1923 from Beaver County and had resided there since. He was a life time member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Cleta G. Estes, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Winona Fae Thomas, Durham; two sisters Mrs. Bertha Owen Hollis, Mrs. Ozella Hundley, Portland, Oregon; two brothers Robert Wilson, Portland, Oregon, Henry Wilson, Hollis; six grandchildren, one foster grandaaughter, 15 great grandchildren.
Interment was in the Fairview cemetery Durham, with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge.
