Funeral of Maggie Fenson.

Funeral services for Miss Maggie Fenson, who took her own life Thursday by drinking acid, were held this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the W.W. Maxwell home, 1101 West. Conrad Vandervelde conducted the services. Mrs. Mary Harris and Mrs. May Beson sang, accompanied by Mrs. Alfred Smith. The body will be taken to Carrollton, Mo., Saturday morning for burial.

Relatives of Miss Fenson, who attended the services, were her mother, Mrs. William Fenson; her sisters, Mrs. W.G. Metz and Miss Ella Fenson; her brothers, Albert, William and Frank Fenson, and her aunt, Mrs. M.G. Hatch, all of Kansas City, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Maxwell, of Manhattan, relatives of Mr. W.W. Maxwell, attended the services.

Woman Drinks Poison.

Emporia, Kan., Oct. 31. -(AP)- Miss Maggie Fenson, 27 years old, for twelve years the ward of W.W. Maxwell of Emporia, committed suicide this afternoon by drinking poison. Grief over the death of Maxwell's wife was thought to be the cause of her act. Her parents are understood to live in Kansas City.
