Mrs. Josephine D. Klug, aged 56, of Toddsville, died Saturday evening in the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, after a long illness. She was born October 9, 1903 in New York City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McKenna. She. was married to William Klug on September 21, 1939 in Hoboken, N. J. Mrs. Klug worked in the business office of the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital. She was a member of Otsego Chapter, No. 201, Order of the Eastern Star and Knights Templar Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Howard D. Johnson of East Decatur, Ga.; a grandchild; a brother, Jack McKenna; seven sisters, Mrs. Mildred Berney of Bronx, Mrs. Irene Schroder of Hoboken, N. J., Miss Evelyn McKenna of New York City, Mrs. Myrtle Ludwig of Florida, and Mrs. Florence Malloy, Mrs. Ruth Byrne and Mrs. Cecelia Webb, all of New York City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m., on Tuesday from the Ingalls Funeral Home in Cooperstown, with the Rev. William A. Highfield, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Fly Creek Cemetery. Otsego Chapter, OES, conducted funeral services at 8 p. m. on Monday at the funeral home.
