Twin CHARLES ALEXANDER Drumheiser was born the fifth son of Peter F. and Catherine (Katherine) Sara (Lebold, Lebo) Drumheiser 15 January 1879 in Shamokin. Charles, a laborer, was married 31 March 1900 to ANNA (Annie) F. PENSYL.

Annie was b. in Rush Township, Northumberland County in 1880 to WILLIAM E. and MARGARET (Maggie) E. (SWANK) PENSYL. Annie's father William was b. in 1856 and d. 10 July 1916. Her mother, Maggie, was b. in Rush Township 8 October 1862 and d. 30 April 1936. Both parents are buried in Shamokin Cemetery. Anna F. d. 5 August 1917 according to Find A Grave.

By 1910, according to the census taken that year, Charles, Annie and their two sons were living in Reading, PA. He was employed as a brakeman for the Reading railroad.

According to the Macungie Progress newspaper he d. from a railroad accident- 1 December 1910. He slipped on the icy platform and fell under the wheels losing both legs below the knees. He was rushed to Reading Hospital on a special train but died that same evening. However, Charles Alexander lived and registered for the military at Local Board No. 37 in Philadelphia on September 12,1918 and the card indicated "both legs off above knees". According to Farrows Funeral home records Charles died in Philadelphia of the flu 18 October 1918. Charles is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
