Weber O. Levengood, 85, of 402 South lawn Ave., a retired farmer, died at 5:40 a.m. today at County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
He was born April 3, 1879 near New Bedford, a son of Jacob D And Margaret Alleshouse Levengood, and was married Nov.22, 1904 to Fannie E Bechtol, who died March 14, 1962. He was a member of the St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church of this city.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Guthrie, and Mrs. Verl Boyd, one son, Arthur Levengood, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Martin and Mrs. Celesta Shutt, twelve grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Dawson Funeral Home by Rev. W O Keefer. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
