Leonard Max Dotson, 28, of 1536½ Avenue D, Fort Madison, died May 14 (1952), at 4 a.m. in Sacred Heart hospital, Fort Madison. He was a machinist at the West Burlington shops.
A native of Burlington, Dotson was born March 6, 1924 and was married to Elaine Brown at Fort Madison on June 28, 1946. He had been a resident of Fort Madison for the past 6 years.
Dotson was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church of Fort Madison. He is survived by his widow, a six week old daughter, Sylvia Elaine, and his parents, Theodore and Myrtle Walker Dotson, of New London. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Virginia Lox, of New London.
