Jimmy Ray Nelson, age 61, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Pauline and Charlie R. Nelson; sisters, Betty Nelson, Linda K. Nelson, and Vonette Nelson; and brother, Dwain Nelson. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Deanna and Mark Anderson, Gladys and Bobby Bean, and JoAnn and Arthur Lawson all of Maryville; brothers, Edward Nelson of Seymour and Danny Nelson of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mt. Zion Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Billy Carrigan officiating.
