Mrs. Frank Gauss Dies At Oaklawn
---Mrs. Adeline H. Gauss of Lyon Lake and Palmetto, Florida died at 2:30 a.m. today at Oaklawn hospital where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She had been a patient for one week in a Bradenton, Florida, hospital before returning to Marshall.
---She was born in Eckford township on August 19, 1883, the daughter of Allen and Sarah (Butler) Booth. She lived there during her early life and one December 23, 1903, she married Frank Gauss of Clarendon township in Homer.
---They made their home of[sic] a farm in Clarendon township, later living on farms in Eckford and Marengo townships. They retired in 1955, since making their home at Lyon Lake and Palmetto. Mrs. Gauss was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Marshall.
---She is survived by her husband, Frank; two daughters, Mrs. George (Thelma) Kelser and Mrs. Lohrman (Fairy) Zerbel, both of Marshall; one son, Homer Gauss of Bradenton, Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Sanders and Mrs. Harriet Thunder, both of Marshall; two brothers, Edson Booth of Clarendon township and Fred Booth of Hamilton, Indiana; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
---Friends may call at the Kelser funeral home where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Douglas G. Trout of the First Presbyterian church will officiate and Paul A. Humiston will be organist. Interment will be in Lyon Lake cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank (Adeline H.) Gauss, who died March 25 at Oaklawn hospital after an illness of three weeks, were held yesterday at 2:00 from the Kelser funeral home with the Rev. Douglas G. Trout of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was made in Lyon Lake cemetery. Pallbearers were Carl Keithan, Robert Sackett, Martens, Mueller, John Huepenbecker, Glenn Casey and Alfred Russell.
