Mrs. Heineck was born in Laurel, Or. With her husband, Roy, she operated a grocery store near N.E. Portland boulevard and Interstate avenue in Portland about 20 years. Later they operated a general merchandise store at Lyons, Or., and sold out there three years ago to move to the Salem area.
Survivors, besides the widower, include a son, Gordon, Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Veek, Olympia, Wash., and Mrs. Evelyn Rutschman, Hillsboro; her mother, Frances Messinger, Oswego; two sisters, Annie Vose, Oswego, and Lula Fields, Portland; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
