Wilma Lea was the daughter of John Henry and Rachel Barbara (Billbe) Bushman. Born at Collinsville, Oklahoma on Dec. 6, 1915, she moved with her family to Blackwell in 1918 and attended school there.

On May 2, 1934, she married Percy R. Love at Deer Creek, Oklahoma. After living in Blackwell and Tonkawa, the couple settled in Ponca City in 1955. Four children were born to them: Alvin, Carmeleta, Joyce, and LaDonna.

Wilma was active in church and enjoyed fishing, camping, flower gardening, wild birds, and her dogs.

Her husband and her parents preceded her in death, as did six brothers, three sisters, and one great grandchild. At the time of her passing, survivors included her four children; one sister, Louise Hembree of Tonkawa; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
