Mr. Walter Benson Robertson, 80, of Anderson, Missouri departed this life on Thursday morning, November 1, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.

Walter entered this life on August 5, 1932 in rural Delaware County Oklahoma near Southwest City, Missouri born to the union of the late Willard and Bessie (George) Robertson. He resided in Kansas City, Joplin and other various parts of the country. He was a farmer and laborer throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Marshall Robertson; and a sister Vivian Robertson.

Walter is survived by two sons, Jerry Robertson of Lone Jack, Missouri and Charles Robertson of Golden, Missouri; two daughters, Pansy Adam of Gentry, Arkansas and Penney Masterson of Rogers, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Virgie Charles of the state of New Mexico; as well as a host of other family.

Private burial will be held at the Polson Cemetery near Southwest City, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
