Note: A twin to Henderson that died before 1878 mother Mary Jane Ratliff.

page 219 Basil McDade Sears, 83, died in Callao, Mo. 13 March 1914. He was a son of Elder William Sears, the noted Primitive Baptist preacher and was a half-brother of the late Wm. H. Sears of Macon. He was born in Randolph County, Mo., but had long been a farmer in Macon County. Some years ago he retired and moved to Callao, Mo. H. W. Sears, a Chautauqua lecturer of Waverly, Ill. is a son and Mrs. Gertrude Drinkard is a daughter. Interment at Old Chariton church cemetery.
