Lewis G. Scott, 68

Funeral services for Lewis G. Scott, 68, of 408 E. 6th Street, who died Thursday at West Nebraska General Hospital in Scottsbluff, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Batcs-Landa Chapel. Dr. David McCreaiy will officiate, and burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery with military rites at graveside. Scott was born May 25, 1917, in Alliance, and had lived here most of his life, except for 27 years service in the U.S. Air Force. He served during World War H, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He retired as a Tech. Sergeant in 1966. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, the American Legion, Air Force Sergeants Association, and AARP. Survivors include his sister, Edith Wagner, of Lovell, Wyo.; a niece, a nephew, three grand-nieces and three grand-nephews.
