Amos Eaches Dead. Amos Eaches, a well known citizen of this vicinity, died Saturday afternoon at his home in East Weissport after an illness of several weeks with stomach troubles, aged seventy-two years, two months and twenty days. A widow survives. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon services being held in the United Evangelical Church, Rev. W. J. Edleman, officiating. Interment was made in the Weissport cemetery. Deceased was a contractor and builder and erected a number of buildings in this section, among them being the Lehighton public school building.
