The memorial service for Elsie Pendergraft, 75, of Medford, will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Medford First Baptist Church. The Revs. Bob Smith and Jim Lady will officiate. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

She was born Sept. 17, 1933, in Jet to Leroy and Ruby Gertrude White Miller and died Monday, June 15, 2009, at Servant Living Center, Medford.

She was a graduate of Nash High School. She moved with her sister to Eugene, Ore., in August 1951, returning to Nash in 1952.

She married Frank Zander. She later married Calvin Pendergraft Feb. 27, 1974, in Medford. They moved to Pond Creek and later to Medford. She worked at Mr. T's IGA Grocery Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are one sister, Velma Hunt of Lake Oswego, Ore.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Memorials may be made made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
