William L. Rhea, 88, of 3031 Alma-Omega Rd., Waverly, died 4:34 p.m. March 13, 1991 in Pike Community Hospital. He was born July 23, 1902 in Jackson County to Jehiel Theodore and Anna Moles Rhea. On July 3, 1923 he married the former Grace Schrader, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Earl Wayne Rhea, Rocky Mountain, N.C.; two daughters, Becky Runkle, Piketon, and Betty Remy, Waverly; one sister, Margaret Adams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bleiss Rhea and Guy Rhea. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Funeral Home, Beaver. Burial to follow in Beaver Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on-Sat.
