Aaron M. Edwards
Aaron M. Edwards, 83, of Indianola, died of heart failure January 18, 1998 at South Sunflower County Hospital. He was a land title searcher and attorney. Mr. Edwards, a native of Louisville, had lived in Indianola 43 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a graduate of Linn High School and attended Delta State University. He graduated from Jackson School of Law. He was a member of American Legion Post 2 and First United Methodist Church. He was very active in searching old cemeteries for genealogy purposes. He was the widower of Hazel Martin Edwards. Survivors include his daughters: Rebecca E. Brown of Hattiesburg, Joan E. Wakham of Johnson City, Tenn.; son: Jack Edwards of Indianola; brother Allen Edwards of Indianola; 2 grandchildren. Graveside services were January 21 at Indianola City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to French Camp Academy or favorite charity. Card Funeral Home of Indianola was in charge of arrangements.
