Services for Eva Jane Martin, 88, of 3315 N. Military, former superintendent of Crippled Children's Hospital, and city businesswoman, will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Guardian Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. She died Friday in an Edmond Hospital.
Miss Martin was born in Severy, KS, and came to Oklahoma City in 1913. She managed the cafeteria and bookstore at Oklahoma City University 15 years, and also operated Martin's Cafe on N. Harvey for a number of years.
She attended Baker University at Baldwin, KS, and the teacher's college at Emporia, KS. She had been a member of First Methodist Church 51 years and had been nominated for listing in the forthcoming "Who's Who in Greater Oklahoma City."
Survivors include a sister, Mrs J. E. Garvey, Waverly, KS; and two nieces, Mrs Marta Czirr Monahan, OKC; and Mrs Chet (Sadie) Moore, Edmond.
