KANSAS CITY - Dr. Elbert S. Barker, 79, of Kansas City, mo., former Pleasant View, Utah, resident died Wednesday at the Research Hospital in Kansas City Mo. Dr. Barker was born Feb 28, 1896, in Pleasant View, a son of LeRoy and Mary Cragun Barker. He was married to Estella Sneed. He had been a chiropractor in Kansas City for the past 47 years, and was a member of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association and the LDS Church. Surviving are his widow, one son and one daughter E. Willey barker and Mrs. Doris Watkins, all of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and four sisters, Peary B. Barker, Pleasant View; Ms. David (Lillian) Kunzler, Willard; Mrs. J. Victor (Grace) Judy, Mrs. Ezra (Louise) Thompson, both of Roy; Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Coletti, Alexander, Va. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the North Ogden City Cemetery. Friends may call at Larkin and Sons Mortuary in Ogden Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30 a.m.
