Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in Garrison funeral church for John Hunter, 2317 W Lawn, who died Thursday at Mercy Hospital. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Hunter had been traffic manager for the Sante Fe railroad for 39 years until his retirement in 1954. He was a member of Putnam City Christian church. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane, of the home; three daughters, Mrs Ollie Ballard, Yukon; Mrs Opal Soloman, 3501 N Broadway; Mrs Oma McClain, 2242 Eubanks; a son, Howard Hunter, Inglewood CA; three brothers and a sister, all out-of-state residents; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
