Mrs. Mary West, who lived 3 miles east of Emporia on Route 1, died at 12:05 Sunday morning. She was the wife of Jep West.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Roberts-Blue Funeral home. Rev. Claude G.Large, pastor of the First Christian church, will conduct the services. Burial will be Hunt cemetery.
Mrs. West, whose maiden name was Mary Davis, was born at Blont, Tenn., April 18, 1871. She was married to Jep West in Tennessee August 10, 1898, and came to Emporia in 1904. She is survived by her husband, of the home, and a son, Charles West, and a daughter, Miss Nellie West, also of the home.
