An amazing interesection
A Virtual Cemetery created by: sr/ks
Description: Finding Martin Lubold was a bit of a miracle.I'm adopted, and in doing genealogy had long wondered if it were possible that my birth and adopted families might ever have known one another in the past.My Romberger clan, my adoptive family, has early family members buried at St. John's Lutheran in Berrysburg PA, in particular my great great great grandpa Daniel and his father, Balthasar. In tracing my birthfamily, I found that my maternal birthgrandpa was descended from the Lubolds... and tracing the line back, here is a direct line ancestor of mine buried in the same cemetery as my adoptive family. Berrysburg was not a big place then, and even today is small, so yes, odds are very good the Lubolds and Rombergers knew one another.
