Descendants of Samuel Marshall & Phebe Perry A Virtual Cemetery created by: Kelly Marshall Description: Samuel Marshall (1801-1835) was the second child of John Marshall (about 1761-1806) and Catharina Truby Rohrer Marshall (about 1764-1806). Phebe Perry (1803-1885) was the daughter of Moses Perry and Sarah Russell. They made their home in the vicinity of the present-day villages of Parker, Foxburg, and Lisbon, on or near the Allegheny River. Marshall was reared by his Aunt Hovey--Mary Ann Truby Hovey--after the death of his parents in Ohio in 1806. After his death at the young age of 33, Phebe lived as a widow for 50 years--the matriarch of a large Western Pennsylvania family.
