1954 PBM-5 crash No. Mexico

Description: On May 5, 1954, a Navy twin-engine Mariner patrol seaplane, from NAS Corpus Christi, crashed into the rugged mountains of Northern Mexico, killing the 10-man crew. The crew included pilot & co-pilot (H. Jennings & J. W. Martin);, three student officers (B. D. Guttenplan, W. E. McCall, and Donald G. Tiefer); five enlisted crewmen (Loyd H. Barela, Q. R. Killion, Wendell W. MacIntosh, R. H. Vincent, and Ray L. Walker).
