My ancestors: York side

Description: The York side of my family are Southerners through and through. Although it has been difficult tracing them back to a country of origin, they appear to have come primarily from a background of Cavaliers from Southern England, poorer folk from the English Borderlands and maybe Scotland, and Palatine Germans. (Note: 'Whig and Tory Soldiers' marks William Deaton's burial location).
