Ole Kickapoo Crew

Memorials with grave markers and cenotaphs of the crew of the "Ole Kickapoo," a B24 Liberator (Aircraft #42-40753 J) that went down on 1 Aug 1943 after successfully completing its mission in Operation Tidal Wave, aka, the Low Level Ploesti Raid. Six were killed in action that day, two died of their wounds soon after. Two survived only to become prisoners of war.
