Sallie Allen was the daughter of Alfred Simon Allen and Lillie C. Russ. She was sister to Virginia E. Allen Kinlaw, Lottie Allen Prevatt, Bertha Allen Williams, Marvin Alexander Allen ("Sandy"), Lula Allen Curington Roepke, and Naomi Allen. She married Robert Charles Christie on November 17,1926 in Dade City Florida. Robert and Sallie had two children, William E. Christie and Carl Christie. Sallie Christie moved to Tampa and after the death of Robert married Antonino DiMaggio on January 2,1940 in Tampa Florida.
