| Birth: | Feb. 9, 1888 Carroll County Georgia, USA | | Death: | May 26, 1967 Cullman Cullman County Alabama, USA |  My grandfather-Was born in Carroll County Georgia in 1888 to T.F. and Eliza Margaret (Watters) Burks-Grandson of Alexander and Tabitha Milam Burks, and his GGP`s are believed to be Elisha and Patience Dunston Burks.He and both his future wife Bessie Brown came to Alabama in a covered wagon as young children. They were married on 10/25/14 by Rev. J.C. Moody at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Brown (Bessie` parents). This union prouduced 7 children, 4 of whom lived to adulthood. 3 of their children who died as infants are buried a few plots down from them. Their youngest daughter, Alla Bea, (our dear Mother) is interred right next to them. Family links: Parents: T.F.
