College Football Player, Plane Crash Victim. He was the starting quarterback for Marshall University for some games in 1970. He was in the plane (however Bob Harris started in their last game at East Carolina) when it crashed at Tri-State Airport on November 14, 1970. The plane crash is the worst sports-related air disaster in U.S. history.
