Floyd Webster Nunamaker was a Forklift operator at A.B. Dick Company, with 38 years of service. He was a Veteran, having served in the Navy during World War II from 1946-1950. Floyd was the Husband of R. Diane Nunamaker (Jonsson) with 46 years of marriage; Father of Bradley Nunamaker and Nicolle Ritchey; and Grandfather of Anthony, Keith Jr., Jeffrey, Axel, Zachary and Trevor; Great Grandfather of Sage. Every Christmas Floyd gave to all the little ones that believed, and became their very own Santa Clause. Floyd was an artist in his own right, giving many hand drawn pictures and hand made crafts to people throughout his life, and always said he would never sell his artwork because that would take the fun out of doing them because than it would have become work not pleasure. He enjoyed the many museum trips, the fine arts & classical music, walks through the neighborhood, long quite car rides to see the colors of Autumn and flowers bursting to life in the spring, and his weekly visits with his best friend of 65 years(Zaz) but otherwise was a simple man. Floyd became very ill in the last few years of his life and started to suffer from conditions related to his heart condition. He at times had memory difficulty due to these health issues he suffered from. Floyd had his first heart surgery back in 1978 and was very stubborn about returning to Doctors afterward. He had a sudden deterioration in his health and with much persistence from his family Floyd finally went into see a doctor in November 2003 at this time he was hospitalized. They found that he had a major blockage at his aortic valve and liver and kidney functions were severely diminished. Floyd underwent a second major open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve on December 31, 2003. Unfortunately due to the kidney's not being strong enough Floyd would not make it. On January 4th with his Wife at his right hand, His Daughter at his left hand and his Son at his feet Floyd took his finally breaths with his body and walked back home with the Father to Heaven. Floyd will forever be with his family within our hearts. We Love You Dad(Pops) He was 74 years(6 months and 8 days old) when he passed away. If you knew Floyd you know why I put in the detail of his age. Floyd's birth parents were Hazel Webster Parker & Alfred Edmond Parker. Alfred Parker put both of his children into an orphanage after his wife Hazel had passed away. Floyd W. Nunamaker was adopted by Minnie (Hazel's sister) and William Nunamaker (Hazel's brother-in-law) Febuary 1931. Floyd's sister was adopted by Hazel's Mother Ida May Webster.
