Clyde E. Kersey was born near Ardmore on October 10, 1922 to Early and Maggie Kersey and died Friday, September 12, 2003 at First Shamrock care center in Kingfisher Oklahoma. He married Bessie McCartney Beebe in Kingfisher on June 19, 1973. He was a Veteran of World War 2. He was preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters one grandson one great-granson. Clyde is survived by his wife Bessie of the home; one son James Kersey of Del City; one daughter, Susan Kersey of Shingletown Califonia; one step-son, Jack Beebe of Gillette, Wyo.; five step-daughters, Betty Hamerman of Timken Kan.,Lee Bowen of Moore, Peggy Stucks of Bristow, Anita Kersey of Del City, Connie Bowman of El Reno; one sister Ruth Franklin of Hastings; three grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren four great-grandchildren 20 step-great grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild.
