My great-grandfather. George was the 9th of 12 children (and the 8th of 11 to live to adulthood). On March 31, 1905, he married Elizabeth Housley (also the 8th of 11 to live to adulthood). They had 6 children, of whom my grandpa Fred was the youngest. At the age of 40, George died of pneumonia.
The photo of him as a child is his portion of a family portrait taken circa 1884.
