Alice was the daughter of Cecil Allen Weeks & Gertrude Minnie Partin Weeks. She was the older sister to Lester Cecil Weeks. She married Noma Caulie Lasseter, son of Lessie Lasseter & Mary Nan "Johnnie" Mixon Lasseter on 8 Oct 1940 in Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida. She was mother to Rita Ann Lasseter Rucks, Carol Annette Lasseter Whigham & Vivian Joyce Lasseter Sumner. Alice was buried beside her mother at her request prior to her death. Her younger brother Lester Cecil Weeks was buried in Salisbury National Cemetery in North Carolina but a "memory" stone was placed at the grave of their grandmother by Alice's three daughters.
(It is up for debate as to where my grandmother was actually born. Someone told me she was born near Lake Marian but nobody can verify whether it was Lake Marian in Polk County or Osceola County. Her parents lived near Mulberry close to that time. I have even been told she was born near a "fish camp".)
