Clayton Deck was the son of Henry Isaac Deck and Florence Estelle Steinbaugh. He was married to Caroline (Carrie) Jarchow June 7, 1911. They had three children: Lucille, Stanley, and Marilyn. In 1910 Clayton was a Fireman. In 1918 he was an stationary engineer for American National Wheel Co. He was a stationary engineer for Jacob Folger Meat Packing Company from before 1930 until his death.
