Bernice Meeker was the daughter of Samuel W. and Lizzie Lee Crary Coley. She married Robert Roy Meeker. Their children were Mary, Robert Jr., Rusley and David. She lived in Florida all of her life, but was visiting her daughter, Mary, in California at the time of her death. Bernice liked to believe that Ezra Meeker, the blazer of the Oregon trail, was her father-in-law's cousin. But even after searching diligently, we haven't seen any clear link between them in any of the records.
