Lulu Cole was one of 10 children, born to Adam H. Cole and Sarah Marie Young Cole. She lived and worked in Albany and Schenectady her adult life as a seamstress. She never married and lived with various family members including the Shea's on Mercer St. in Albany. She also lived on Eagle Street with her brother Millard's family, Mary Elizabeth, Edward Raymond and Marie Wood Cole, his wife. She also stayed with relatives in Cobleskill. Her last years were spent in a rest home in Cobleskill where she died of pneumonia at the age of 87.
