Born to Rufus Kendrick and Ellen Anne "Annie" Blasengame
Mullikin. Raised on farm in Star City. Worked as telephone
operator for Southwestern Bell in Pine Bluff. Married Charles Mitchem
Riley August 25, 1925 at Pine Bluff. Was a home mother until WWII when
she worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. She was member of Immanuel Baptist Church
and the Phebean Bible Class. She was mother of Mildred Ann "Mickey" Riley Welch, Charles Riley
Jr., Mary Lou Riley Smith, and Peggy Joyce Riley Reichard. She had breast cancer
and a melanoma on her leg. She died after a 7 year battle. She was a great
mother and was loved by all who knew her.
