| Birth: | May 8, 1841 Appleton Knox County Illinois, USA | | Death: | Nov. 10, 1918 Dayton Lyon County Nevada, USA |  Pvt. Henry C. Collier Served with Co.G 11th Illinois Vol. Inf. During the Civil War of 1861-65 Born in Knox County Ill. in 1841 he enlisted in the Union Army on June 12th 1862 at age 21 and served until discharged on July 9th 1865. He moved out west to Nevada in 1869 first living in Gold Hill NV then Later Virginia City NV. And for a short time he lived in California. He finaly moved to Dayton NV in 1889 and lived there until his death on Nov. 10th 1918 at age 77. He died of the Spanish Flu during the great epidemic of 1918-19.
