Pvt. George Flewellen served with Co.E 8th PA. Vol. Inf. during the Civil War of 1861-65.
He came out to Nevada after the Civil war and worked in the Mines around Virginia city until his death June 22 1896 at age 58 of Miners Consumption (Stone Dust chest) The Attached Photo C-1862 Is Courtesy of The Old West Museum in Virginia City NV on C Street Who were kind enough to let me copy it for Find A Grave. The Photo of his grave & the Cemetery were taken in Sept. 2001 The copy of his Death Certificate and the newspaper clippings come from the State Archives.
